Battery and motor

The Flipper has a 350W motor and a 48V 13Ah Chilwee graphene battery. Evee claims a top speed of 25 km/h in the specification table, although the description text says 35 km/h, and a range of up to 35 km. Charging takes about 7 hours and the battery is rated for up to 300 charging cycles. The motor is warranted for 24 months, which is the same as on the more powerful S1 range. All figures are manufacturer claims, and real-world range may be lower with a heavier rider.

Size and practicality

Evee describes the Flipper as ideal for getting around inside a housing society or a residential compound. It offers seating for two and a storage space. The official page does not publish dimensions, wheelbase, ground clearance, weight, seat height, load rating or tyre sizes, so we have left those fields out. With a 25 km/h top speed and a 35 km range, it is not meant for main roads or longer commutes, and a rider and passenger together may find it underpowered, which is our opinion.

Equipment

The listed features are two colour options, seating for two, storage space, a powerful motor and a digital meter. The colours are not named on the page. The page does not list brake type, lighting, riding modes, reverse gear, USB charging or a removable battery, so please check these with a dealer. This is a very basic scooter, and it is designed to keep the price low.

Price, warranty and which one to buy

The official price is PKR 97,000. The warranty is 24 months on the motor, 12 months on the battery and controller, 24 months on the frame and 3 months on the charger. In our opinion, the Flipper is a sensible choice only for very short, slow trips such as moving around a gated community, delivering small items or riding in a campus. For general commuting, the Mito+ costs Rs 40,000 more but gives you a stronger 600W motor, a 40 km/h top speed and a much longer claimed range. If your daily distance is more than 20 km, we recommend a more powerful model such as the LX or GEN-Z. Check the legal requirements for registration and licence for low-speed electric scooters with your dealer before you buy.
