The Horwin EK1 is an electric scooter that shares the SK1’s headline numbers on the official site: a 2000 W motor, a 55 km/h top speed and a 90 km range. Launch coverage lists a hub motor and a 72 V, 36 Ah battery that can be expanded, with a charging time of about 4.5 hours.
The launch coverage gives a ground clearance of 125 mm, a wheelbase of 1320 mm and a weight of up to 92 kg without the battery, which is heavier than the SK1. It has disc brakes and aluminium alloy rims. Accessories mentioned include a tailstock, a backpack and a rack, which make it more practical for carrying things. Like the SK1, it is described as suitable for beginners.
Coverage lists three ride modes plus reverse, a GPS alarm, an LED screen and LED lighting. The EK1 is shown in orange and blue on the official site. Retailers Priceoye and Auto Power list the EK1 at Rs 466,000, while other sources quote Rs 550,000 or Rs 591,600, so the price needs checking.
Horwin Pakistan’s website says all its bikes come with a standard manufacturer warranty covering key components, but it does not publish the length or terms on the pages we saw, so ask your dealer for the written terms. The site also says the bikes are low-maintenance, that regular checks of tyre pressure, brakes and battery health are recommended, and that they can be used in rain, though deep water should be avoided. Charging takes about 4 to 6 hours on a standard home charger, according to the site’s FAQ, and the company suggests overnight charging.
The official dealer page lists flagship showrooms in Lahore (Faisal Town and DHA) and authorised dealers in cities including Wah Cantt, Sialkot, Sargodha and Mianwali. The FAQ mentions financing with instalment plans and trade-in programmes, but gives no figures, so confirm the current plan with the dealer. Horwin entered Pakistan in 2025 through Charged Vehicles Pvt Ltd, so local ownership history is still short.
This section is our opinion. The EK1 costs roughly Rs 32,000 more than the SK1 at the retailers’ prices and adds more accessories, so it makes sense if you plan to carry luggage or want the extra equipment. If you only need basic transport, the SK1 is the cheaper choice.
