Super Power Nitro R300 overview and our opinion
Engine and gearbox
The Nitro R300 is sold as a 300cc bike, but Super Power’s own specification list gives the displacement as 271.3 cc, as reported at launch. It is a single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with oil cooling and a balance shaft. Reported output is 16 kW (about 21.5 hp) at 8,500 rpm and 22 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It has electronic fuel injection and a six-speed gearbox.
Equipment
Reports list ABS on both wheels, electric start, remote ignition and tubeless tyres. It has fewer headline features than the Titan, with no traction control or dual cameras mentioned. The official claim for fuel use is 3.0 litres per 100 km, which works out to roughly 33 km per litre, though that is a manufacturer claim and real riding will vary.
Size and practicality
The fuel tank holds 16 litres, which is larger than the Titan’s reported 13 litres and gives it good touring range on paper. We found no published dimensions, weight, seat height or ground clearance, so check these with a dealer before buying. One listing site shows red as the colour, and the body type is listed as a sports bike.
Price
The Nitro R300 carries an introductory price of PKR 755,000, which is PKR 195,000 less than the Titan R250T. The price may change after the launch period, so confirm it with a dealer. As with the Titan, the figure comes from launch reports because the bike was not on the official website when we checked.
Ownership considerations
A fuel-injected single with a balance shaft and oil cooling is simpler than the Titan’s liquid-cooled twin, which may help running costs. Even so, it is a new model, so ask where it will be serviced, how quickly parts arrive and what the warranty covers. Because the price is introductory, also ask whether it will rise after the launch period.
Who it suits
In our opinion, the Nitro suits a rider who wants a larger bike than a 150cc and values a big tank and ABS, and who would rather save PKR 195,000 than pay for the Titan’s twin-cylinder engine and traction control. As with the Titan, there is no used-market record yet, so resale value is uncertain.
Which one to buy
In our opinion, the Nitro is the more affordable entry to big-bike ownership from Super Power, with a larger engine than the Titan and a bigger tank. The trade-off is a simpler single-cylinder design and a shorter equipment list. It suits a rider who wants more power than a 150cc without paying for the Titan’s extras. As with any new model, ask about warranty, parts availability and service support before you commit.
