BYD Sealion 6 was showcased at PAPS 2026 in Lahore, 18-20 September 2026, by BYD with its local partner Mega Motor Company. It is planned to become BYD’s first locally assembled vehicle in Pakistan, with production targeted to begin in Q4 2026, marking a shift from imported BYD passenger vehicles to local production.

What is confirmed so far

The Sealion 6 shown at PAPS 2026 uses BYD’s Super DM-i plug-in hybrid technology, and BYD quotes a total range of up to 1,100 km. PakWheels reports the Pakistan model is expected to sit in the C+ crossover segment, but its final Pakistan-spec configuration is not yet confirmed, and expected engine and power figures reported in first-look coverage are not final and are therefore not locked into the specification fields.
