The Champion comes as a Standard and a PRO. Both use a brushless motor rated at 1,500 to 2,200 W and claim a top speed of 60 to 70 km/h. The difference is the battery: the Standard has a 73.6 V, 40 Ah Lithium LFP pack and claims 100 to 120 km of eco-mode range, while the PRO has a 73.6 V, 60 Ah pack and claims 160 to 180 km.
Both use an 83.95 V 10 A charger. The Standard charges in 4 to 5 hours and weighs 100 kg, while the PRO needs 6 to 7 hours and weighs 112 kg. Both carry up to 180 kg and use 90/90-12 front and 120/70-10 rear tyres.
Both variants have CBS, dual front disc brakes, a side-stand sensor, NFC unlock, a digital dashboard with speed, battery and trip data, a full LED lighting setup, rear suspension and side and rear protection bars. Crown says reverse mode is standard across its Performance Series and that there is under-seat storage, front hooks and a glove box. Colours are grey, red, green, black and blue. A ToughGuard is listed as a free gift.
Crown publishes the same warranty for all its electric bikes: Battery 4 years / 48,000 km; motor and controller 3 years / 36,000 km (repairable warranty); body parts 1 year / 12,000 km. Each period applies up to the stated distance, whichever comes first, and the motor and controller cover is a repairable warranty. Crown also lists financing through MCB Bank, Meezan Bank and Alfa Mall by Bank Alfalah, so ask your dealer for the current plans. The Standard costs Rs 285,000 and the PRO Rs 335,000, so the extra battery adds Rs 50,000.
Ask which variant is in stock, because the Standard and PRO look alike and differ mainly in battery size and weight. Confirm the charger supplied and the rear tyre size, and ask how long a PRO battery takes to charge on your home supply.
In our opinion, the Standard suits most commuters, since 100 to 120 km is more than enough for a typical day, and it costs the same as the Flash. The PRO is for riders with long daily routes, delivery work or no easy access to a charger, as Crown’s own FAQ calls it suited to delivery riders. If you choose the PRO, plan for the 6 to 7 hour charge and the extra 12 kg of weight. Test both for comfort at the speeds you ride.
