The Horwin SK1 is an electric scooter from the company’s Pakistan lineup. Horwin Pakistan’s website lists a 2000 W motor, a top speed of 55 km/h and a range of 90 km. Launch coverage by ProPakistani and PakWheels adds that the SK1 uses a hub motor and a 72 V, 36 Ah battery that can be expanded with a second battery, with a charging time of about 4.5 hours. These extra figures are not on the official site, so treat them as secondary.
The launch coverage gives a ground clearance of 155 mm, a wheelbase of 1360 mm and a weight of up to 85 kg without the battery. Tyres are 100/80 R14 at the front and 120/70 R14 at the rear on aluminium alloy rims, with disc brakes. The scooter comes with a tailstock and a windscreen, and its display is an LCD screen. Horwin’s website says some models are lightweight, lower to the ground and have controlled power output, which suits women and new riders, and the SK1 is the entry-level model.
According to the launch coverage, the SK1 offers three ride modes plus reverse, GPS tracking with an alarm, all-round LED lighting and a USB charging port. There is only one version, and we could not confirm a single official price. Retailers Priceoye and Auto Power both list Rs 434,000, while other sites show anything from Rs 395,000 to Rs 635,000.
Horwin Pakistan’s website says all its bikes come with a standard manufacturer warranty covering key components, but it does not publish the length or terms on the pages we saw, so ask your dealer for the written terms. The site also says the bikes are low-maintenance, that regular checks of tyre pressure, brakes and battery health are recommended, and that they can be used in rain, though deep water should be avoided. Charging takes about 4 to 6 hours on a standard home charger, according to the site’s FAQ, and the company suggests overnight charging.
The official dealer page lists flagship showrooms in Lahore (Faisal Town and DHA) and authorised dealers in cities including Wah Cantt, Sialkot, Sargodha and Mianwali. The FAQ mentions financing with instalment plans and trade-in programmes, but gives no figures, so confirm the current plan with the dealer. Horwin entered Pakistan in 2025 through Charged Vehicles Pvt Ltd, so local ownership history is still short.
This section is our opinion. The SK1 suits city commuters who want a simple, low-speed electric scooter with a manageable seat height and a second-battery option for longer days. At 55 km/h it is not meant for highways. Because the price varies so much between sources, get a written quotation before you commit.
