Charging takes 6 to 9 hours, and electricity use is listed as 1.25 units per full charge. A six-tube vector-based controller runs the motor.

Size and practicality

The A09 weighs 85 kg and has 155 mm of ground clearance. It uses 60/100-10 tubeless tyres, roller-type drum brakes at both ends and hydraulic suspension. Dimensions and seat height are not published on the page we used, though news coverage describes it as a compact scooter aimed at younger riders.

In our opinion, the A09 is a sensible step up from the A04 for a rider who wants real daily range but still wants low speed and a compact feel. It suits students and light commuters on short urban routes. At 25 to 35 km/h it is not meant for busy main roads.

Which one to buy

If your trips are short, the A09 gives more range than the A04 for a moderate extra cost. If you want more speed and a lithium battery, the A11 LFP is the next option in Revoo’s range. The A09 uses a graphene battery with an 18-month warranty, which is shorter than the 36 months on the lithium models, so factor that in.
