Engine and gearbox

The US 150 is United’s largest petrol motorcycle. The official page lists a 149 cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a 9.1:1 compression ratio and a 5-speed gearbox. Starting is listed as kick or self start, and the battery is 12 V with 1.25 litres of engine oil. United’s official page does not publish power, torque or fuel economy figures, so we have left them out rather than quote unofficial numbers.

Size and practicality

The fuel tank holds 13 litres, the largest in the United range, which helps on longer trips. Tyres are 80/100-18 at the front and 90/90-18 at the rear. The front brake is a disc and the rear is a mechanical drum. The official page gives dimensions of 1900 × 710 × 1040 mm, which are identical to the US 125’s figures, so please double-check them. Weight, seat height and ground clearance are not published.

Equipment

Only one version is listed on the official site. Beyond the front disc brake, the 5-speed gearbox and the choice of kick or electric starting, the page shows images of the meter and styling but no detailed feature list, so we have not claimed any extra equipment. The price, taken from United’s 1 July 2025 circular, is Rs 299,000. Other websites quote different figures, so confirm with a dealer.

Is it worth buying?

This section is our opinion. The US 150 gives you a disc brake, a fifth gear and a bigger tank, which none of the smaller United bikes offer. That makes it the logical choice for riders who want a 150 cc commuter with a local brand’s parts network. Because the official page lacks power, torque and mileage figures, test ride it first and compare it with other 150 cc bikes before deciding.

Buying and servicing

United’s official website has an online booking page and separate dealer network pages for sales, warranty and service, plus a customer service page and phone numbers for the Lahore head office. We have not verified dealer stock or delivery times, so confirm these locally. Because United prices are changed through dealer circulars, ask for a written quotation that shows the exact variant and ex-factory price, and check whether registration, delivery and any dealer charges are extra. Keep in mind that the engine is air-cooled and uses 1.25 litres of oil, so routine servicing should follow the schedule your dealer gives you, and ask about spare-part availability for the disc brake components as well.
