The Velax has a motor rated at 2000W with a peak output of 3200W and a 72V 30Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Yadea claims a top speed of 65 km/h, a range of 85 km in Eco mode and a charging time of 6 to 7 hours. Maximum torque is listed at 172 Nm and the climbing angle is 15 degrees. An intelligent energy management controller offers two riding modes and, according to Yadea, extends battery life by up to 20 percent. The battery pack replacement warranty is 4 years or 50,000 km. Range and speed figures are manufacturer claims.
The Velax is the only Yadea scooter in the range with 14-inch tubeless tyres, which should give it better stability at speed and over bumps than the 10-inch and 12-inch wheels on other models. The official page does not publish dimensions, wheelbase, ground clearance, weight or load rating, so we have left those fields out. The description focuses on a relaxed trip, home charging, and smooth power delivery on slopes.
Only one version is sold. Yadea lists an EasyGO smart, convenient keyless unlocking system, an ECO drive mode and the intelligent energy management controller. The page does not describe the brakes or list a dashboard type, and it does not mention USB charging, cruise control or a removable battery. Three colours are offered: grey, blue and black.
The official price is PKR 444,000. The battery is covered by a 4-year, 50,000 km warranty. In our opinion, the Velax is aimed at riders who want a large-wheel, high-power scooter with a long battery warranty and who are willing to pay more than Rs 4 lakh. It is Rs 89,000 more than the EPOC-H, which has a longer claimed range and cruise control but no published warranty, and Rs 35,000 less than the GT70. The 85 km Eco-mode range is lower than the EPOC-H, so the Velax is a better fit for riders who value the 14-inch wheels, the warranty and keyless entry over maximum range. Because the official page publishes few equipment details, please test ride it and confirm the brakes and dashboard with the dealer before buying.
