The Eveon Joy Max uses a 1000 W BLDC motor and a 76.8V 27Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Eveon lists a top speed of 45 to 50 km/h and a range of 80 to 90 km in Eco Mode. The page quotes a charging cost of 2.3 units of electricity per full charge. Eveon’s website does not give a charging time for most models, so check with the dealer if overnight charging matters to you.
Eveon does not publish dimensions, weight, seat height or ground clearance for this model, so those fields are blank. The page lists 10-inch tubeless tyres and a front disc and rear drum brake. Eveon says its scooters have spacious under-seat storage that fits helmets and bags.
Equipment listed on the model page includes front disc brake, tubeless tyres, side-stand engine cut-off, anti-theft alarm, reverse assist, cruise control, nfc card start, battery management system (bms). There is only one version of the Joy Max, so there is no variant choice to make.
Eveon lists 24 months on the motor (battery warranty is not listed on the page). The company’s own price guide advises buyers to check that the battery warranty is clearly written and that there is a service centre in their city. Eveon has a service centre and a dealership page, and you can book a test ride through the website.
Eveon says an electric scooter has no petrol cost because you charge it at home, and that it has fewer moving parts than a petrol bike, so there are no engine oil changes or spark plugs to replace. The company adds that your exact savings depend on how far you ride each day, so work out your own figures using your electricity tariff.
By price, the Joy Max is number 8 of the 14 models in Eveon’s current model menu, counting from the cheapest. The next cheaper model is the T11 at Rs 224,000, which is Rs 5,000 less. The next dearer model is the Pronto Max at Rs 249,000, which is Rs 20,000 more. Eveon says prices may change and asks buyers to check the model page or contact the company for the latest price.
This section is our opinion. The Joy Max is a mid-priced city scooter with an LFP battery and NFC access. It costs Rs 45,000 more than the standard Joy, and the page does not list a battery warranty, so ask the dealer before paying the premium. Remember that range and top speed are manufacturer claims, so treat them as best-case figures.
