The Eveon N8 uses a 1000 W BLDC motor and a 72V 24Ah swappable lithium iron phosphate (Phylion) battery. Eveon lists a top speed of 45 to 50 km/h and a range of 85 to 95 km in Eco Mode. Eveon’s website does not give a charging time for most models, so check with the dealer if overnight charging matters to you.
Eveon does not publish dimensions, weight, seat height or ground clearance for this model, so those fields are blank. The page lists 10-inch tyres and a front disc and rear drum brake. Eveon says its scooters have spacious under-seat storage that fits helmets and bags.
Equipment listed on the model page includes front disc brake, alloy wheels, removable battery, anti-theft alarm, digital speedometer, reverse assist, cruise control, keyless on/off, traction control. There is only one version of the N8, so there is no variant choice to make.
Eveon lists 24 months on the motor, 36 months on the battery and 18 months on the controller. The company’s own price guide advises buyers to check that the battery warranty is clearly written and that there is a service centre in their city. Eveon has a service centre and a dealership page, and you can book a test ride through the website.
Eveon says an electric scooter has no petrol cost because you charge it at home, and that it has fewer moving parts than a petrol bike, so there are no engine oil changes or spark plugs to replace. The company adds that your exact savings depend on how far you ride each day, so work out your own figures using your electricity tariff.
By price, the N8 is number 6 of the 14 models in Eveon’s current model menu, counting from the cheapest. The next cheaper model is the Pronto Plus at Rs 204,000, which is Rs 8,000 less. The next dearer model is the T11 at Rs 224,000, which is Rs 12,000 more. Eveon says prices may change and asks buyers to check the model page or contact the company for the latest price.
This section is our opinion. The N8 is the best-value long-warranty scooter in the range. It offers a 36-month battery warranty, a swappable LFP battery and 85 to 95 km of claimed range for Rs 212,000, which is Rs 23,000 more than the N7 Max. Remember that range and top speed are manufacturer claims, so treat them as best-case figures.
