The E8S Mountain Climber has a 72 V, 38 Ah nano carbon fiber battery and a 2,000 to 3,500 W motor. Metro claims a top speed of up to 60 km/h, a range of up to 125 km and a maximum torque of 140 Nm, which is what the name refers to.
The page gives a charging time of 6 to 7 hours and up to 1,000 charge cycles. Electricity use is 3 units per charge. The battery and motor are covered for 24 months.
The scooter measures 1,900 x 720 x 1,080 mm with 145 mm of ground clearance and a weight capacity of 170 kg, the highest of Metro’s scooters. It has disc brakes at both ends and 12-inch tubeless tyres, a 90/90-12 front and a 100/80-12 rear, on aluminium alloy rims. Colours are red and grey.
The feature list is long for the price: a reverse option, a side-stand sensor, a traction control system, cruise control, NFC, electronic seat unlock and a driver seat sensor. It has Eco, Normal and Sport modes and an energy-monitoring meter.
The model page shows an offer price of Rs 265,000 until 10 November 2026, against a regular price of Rs 284,000.
In our opinion, the Mountain Climber is a good fit for a heavier rider or someone with hilly routes, given its 170 kg capacity, high torque and traction control. It costs less than the Metrix LFP and more than the T9 Pro, with a faster claimed speed than either of the 50 km/h models. Ask the dealer what happens to the price after 10 November.
