The Raftaar Pro is Crown’s highest-range scooter. It has a 73.6 V, 60 Ah Lithium LFP battery, listed as 4.4 kW, and a brushless motor rated at 3,000 to 4,000 W. Crown claims a top speed of 85 to 90 km/h and a range of 140 to 160 km in eco mode. Crown also says the battery is good for 3,000+ charge cycles, which is a manufacturer claim.
The 83.95 V 10 A charger needs 6 to 7 hours for a full charge, much longer than on the smaller models because of the bigger battery.
Net weight is 122 kg and the load limit is 180 kg, so two adults can ride. Tyres are 90/90-12 at both ends. Crown describes a reinforced metal body on a motorcycle-style chassis, plus a metal safety frame to protect the bodywork. Colours are white, grey, red, blue and black.
The Raftaar Pro has front and rear CBS, dual square LED headlights, an LED tail light, a digital display with speed, range and battery information, four riding modes and NFC unlock. Crown says it has regenerative braking. A ToughGuard protective guard is listed as a complimentary gift.
Crown publishes the same warranty for all its electric bikes: Battery 4 years / 48,000 km; motor and controller 3 years / 36,000 km (repairable warranty); body parts 1 year / 12,000 km. Each period applies up to the stated distance, whichever comes first, and the motor and controller cover is a repairable warranty. Crown also lists financing through MCB Bank, Meezan Bank and Alfa Mall by Bank Alfalah, so ask your dealer for the current plans. The official price is Rs 345,000, the highest in Crown’s performance scooter series.
Because this is the fastest and most expensive Crown scooter, ask about brake performance at 85 to 90 km/h, tyre availability in the 90/90-12 size, and where the nearest authorised service center is. Crown says its network covers more than 80 cities, but you should confirm that your city has a service point that can handle a 3,000 to 4,000 W motor. Also confirm how long a full charge takes on your home supply.
In our opinion, the Raftaar Pro is meant for riders who need highway-capable speed and the longest range in the series, such as a long commute. The trade-offs are the high price, the 122 kg weight and the 6 to 7 hour charge. If your daily distance is under 80 km, a Firefly or Flash would cost far less. Ask for a test ride at speed and confirm real-world range before paying.
