The SP 70 Premium is built around the engine Super Power calls the SP Premium 70CC. It is a 78 cm³ single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled unit with an 8.8:1 compression ratio. The listed output is 7.0 PS at 8,500 rpm and 0.55 kg-m at 6,500 rpm. A wet plate clutch and a four-speed gearbox handle the drive, and ignition is CDI. The company’s claimed fuel figure is 1 litre per 70 km.
This is the model where the starter matters. The official page for the Premium Red lists a self and kick starter, which gives you an electric option on a bike that otherwise looks like a basic 70cc. That is useful for riders who stop often in traffic or who find kick-starting tiring. The page for the separate Premium Self Start listing does not repeat the starter line, but the name makes clear it has self start.
Both versions measure 1,885 x 760 x 990 mm, weigh 82 kg dry and have 35 mm ground clearance. The tank holds 10 litres and the tyres are 2.25-17 4PR at both ends. The Premium Self Start is shown with alloy rims, while the plain Premium listing does not mention them. Colours are red and black.
Super Power lists the SP Premium 70CC at PKR 125,000 in red or black. The SP 70cc Premium Self Start is listed at PKR 144,000, which is PKR 19,000 more. The official pages do not fully explain that gap, apart from the alloy rim wording, and the plain Premium page already shows a self and kick starter. Ask the dealer exactly what the extra money buys.
The Premium uses the same air-cooled engine, CDI ignition and wet clutch as the other 70cc models, so servicing should be familiar to most mechanics. The official fuel claim is 70 km per litre, though that is a manufacturer figure and real mileage will vary with load and riding style.
In our opinion, this is the right bike for a rider who stops and starts often, such as in city traffic or on delivery routes, and who would rather press a button than kick. It also suits a family that wants one light bike that several people can start easily. It is less suited to rough roads because of the low ground clearance.
In our opinion, the PKR 125,000 Premium is the better value because it already lists self and kick start. The Self Start version only makes sense if you specifically want the alloy rims and the dealer confirms the difference in writing. Warranty terms are not published on the official pages, so ask about them before buying either bike.
