The SP Tokyo 70CC uses a 78 cm³ four-stroke, air-cooled OHC engine with an 8.8:1 compression ratio and a 47.0 x 41.4 mm bore and stroke. It has a four-speed gearbox and a wet plate clutch. Unlike the other 70cc pages, the Tokyo page does not publish horsepower, torque, ignition type or a fuel-economy claim, so we cannot compare its output with the rest of the range.
The Tokyo is a little longer and taller than the Dollar at 1,897 x 751 x 1,014 mm. Its biggest practical difference is ground clearance of 136 mm, far above the 35 mm listed for the other models, which should help on speed breakers and rough lanes. Dry weight is 82 kg. The fuel tank is smaller at 8.5 litres, so expect to refuel more often. Tyre sizes are listed as 2.25-17 (4PR) and 2.50-17 (4PR).
No features are listed on the official page and the starting method is not stated. The model is shown in red and black. Brakes, suspension and warranty are not published.
Super Power lists both Tokyo colours at PKR 200,000, the highest price in its 70cc range. At the time we checked, both listings were marked out of stock on the official site, so confirm availability with a dealer before planning a purchase.
The Tokyo uses a 78 cm³ air-cooled OHC engine with a wet clutch, which is a simple layout that most workshops should be able to service. Because Super Power publishes no fuel-economy claim on the Tokyo page, we cannot estimate running costs. The smaller 8.5-litre tank also means more frequent fuel stops than on the 10-litre models.
In our opinion, the Tokyo suits a rider who regularly meets broken roads and high speed breakers and wants the extra clearance. For a rider who sticks to smooth city streets, the cheaper Super Power 70s do the same job at a much lower price. The out-of-stock status also means you may wait for supply.
In our opinion, the Tokyo only makes sense for a buyer who wants the extra ground clearance and is willing to pay PKR 86,000 more than a Dollar. The missing power figures and the out-of-stock status make it a harder buy to recommend than the Premium or the Dollar. If you are considering it, ask the dealer for the full spec sheet and a warranty statement first.
